Ulasan 2: Virtual Memory

Pada artikel ini saya akan mereview video yang ada pada link berikut: https://youtu.be/2quKyPnUShQ. Video ini berjudul What is virtual memory - Gary Explains. Video ini sudah dilihat sebanyak lebih dari 27 ribu kali sejak pertama kali diupload pada Februari 2017. Ringkasan Sekarang ini, banyak sekali benda-benda yang diawali dengan kata "virtual". Tentu sudah tidak asing lagi terdengar "virtual currency", "virtual reality", dan lain sebagainya. Hal itu tentu diawali dengan adanya virtual memory. Ketika kita memiliki dua program berjalan, kita perlu memerhatikan beberapa hal seperti: 1. Dimana setiap program disimpan dalam memori? 2. Hindari overwrite data dalam memori, 3. Relative Addressing. Dengan adanya virtual memory, masalah fragmentation dapat teratasi dengan cukup baik.
